In an effort to deliver even more value to its customers, Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is proud to announce the addition of ball valves to its extensive family of products. The latest product line addition provides Stream-Flo with a full line of floating and trunnion ball valves, all of which will be backed by the company’s extensive infrastructure.
Falling under the Valve Business Unit (VBU), the addition of the ball valve product line will also see Stream-Flo add to its headcount, which includes engineering, operations and sales. Jim Dietrich, VBU General Manager/Director of Sales, says the main goal of this product line addition is to provide customers a more integrated package to bring them increased value through Stream-Flo’s quality and service.
“We are very excited to extend our products and services and offer additional value to our customers. We can now do so by providing solutions that start with the wellhead, progress to gathering and processing, and finish with midstream and downstream. A ball valve product line offering extends Stream-Flo further into the hydrocarbon chain,” said Dietrich shortly before the announcement.
Quarter turn ball valves are commonly used and preferred in isolation (on/off) applications based on size, speed of operation, and economic availability. “They’re quick, efficient, and cost-effective,” says Dietrich.
By bringing the ball valve product line under the Stream-Flo umbrella, not only will customers be gaining greater convenience when it comes to their flow control needs. Dietrich says they will also be buying a product fully backed by the Stream-Flo Group of Companies Quality Policy along with the committed service Stream-Flo is globally known for.
“I’m very much looking forward to providing our customers with a high-quality ball valve option with Stream-Flo’s nearly six decades worth of infrastructure and service excellence behind it,” says Dietrich. “That is where the customer will see the full value of what we can deliver once they choose us. We build it, we back it!”
In the immediate future, Dietrich says he and his department are focused on expanding approved manufacturing lists (AMLs), securing secondary and tertiary distribution channels, and product development.
“We want to make the product even more competitive for our customers by tailoring the expertise we now have access to,” said Dietrich. “That way we can achieve our main goal of exceeding customer expectations by always providing them with enhanced value they won’t find anywhere else.”
