The Stream-Flo Group of Companies is proud to announce that all our manufacturing, sales, and aftermarket service facilities in North America have received ISO 45001:2018 certification.
This significant achievement is the culmination of nearly a year's worth of hard work and planning by the HSE team.
Upon receiving the certificate, Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. Vice President of HSE, Technical Training & Property Management Grant Pilgrim called it a huge accomplishment for the group of companies and everyone involved, saying it was a total team effort.
"ISO 45001 is the global standard for occupational health and safety management systems," said Pilgrim.
"Achieving this certification demonstrates the elite level of our HSE standards and systems, and it highlights our continuous improvement as a group of companies."
In order to satisfy the requirements for ISO 45001:2018, a substantial amount of legwork and coordination across various departments was necessary. Part of the process included program revisions, internal audits, gap analyses, and legal compliance reviews before auditors ever stepped foot within our doors.
Across all our North American facilities and through the course of 12 audits, only two minor non-conformances were recorded.
"Our customers — especially our international customers — are increasingly requiring this level of HSE compliance from the companies they do business with," says Pilgrim.
"Receiving this ISO 45001:2018 certification will position us strongly as we look to grow our business further — and most importantly — it will help ensure we continue to keep all our employees safe as they carry out their jobs."
