Featured Organization: NAIT
The Stream-Flo Group of Companies is a long-standing supporter of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). Our ongoing support includes endowment funds for Stream-Flo Industries Inc. Achievement Award scholarships that are given to two students each year in the CNC Machinist Certificate program, and Master Flo Valve Inc. Achievement Award scholarships that are given to two students each year in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma program. Past support also includes a donation from founder Duncan and wife Verda McNeill of close to $1 million for NAIT’s Centre for Information and Communications Technology.
In 2017, Stream-Flo and Master Flo, a member of the Stream-Flo Group of Companies, donated wellheads with flowing top sections and four choke valves that were incorporated into gas metering skids (above) that are used by Petroleum Engineering Technology students, allowing them to learn real-world skills on the same oilfield equipment they will encounter on the job. Donating the equipment is part of our commitments to invest in our youth, and to ensure that the Canadian oil and gas industry has the skilled, safety-conscious workforce it needs to continue leading the world in innovation and sustainable energy production.
