Health and Safety is an integral part of the way we do business. Stream-Flo management is committed to maintaining a strong program to help ensure the safety of our employees, customers, the public and the environment. We strive to ensure that our operations promote safe practices and procedures that will continually improve our safety performance.
Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. proudly obtained the Certificate of Recognition for Alberta in June 2003 and for British Columbia in September 2007. A Certificate of Achievement was also granted in Saskatchewan in 2008 acknowledging our commitment to Health and Safety.
The COR Certificate is issued by Alberta Employment and Immigration and is co-signed by our certifying partner, Enform. A Certificate of Recognition (COR) is awarded to employers who develop health and safety programs that meet established standards. Achieving and maintaining a valid COR is required for earning a financial incentive through the WCB Partnerships in Injury Reduction program. Many of the companies that Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. performs work for also require contractors bidding on projects to hold a valid COR.
